I’m Lauren, the founder of Arte Nova Beauty and Wellness Rooms. 

 

After feeling that my career no longer fulfilled me along with a deep rooted desire to run my own business, I began my journey to becoming a fully qualified level 2 and 3 beauty therapist back in 2015. Since qualifying I have worked in a prestigious salon in Highgate, London, trained in many other areas of beauty therapy, worked with some of the most experienced professionals and had the most amazing clients to boot! I would say that beauty therapy is my calling and I am so excited to open and run my own boutique salon here in High Barnet. 

 

Although I enjoy all aspects of beauty therapy, I have a special passion for all types of hair removal, tinting and skincare. I absolutely love helping you to de-fluff or providing a tailored facial while you relax in complete bliss, knowing that your skin concerns are taken care of. Arte Nova was born through my desire to create a salon space that felt nurturing, safe and where women could feel heard. A space where women could focus on themselves, away from the clatter of everyday life. A salon that focuses on enhancing natural beauty, with you at the heart of the treatments we offer.

 

Personally, I love travel, the theatre, museums, galleries, going to gigs, a good book and coffee is my downfall! I’m always keen to hear local recommendations and chat about life with clients (I do also offer silent appointments, if you just want some peace and quiet). I have a passion for and keen interest in women's rights and support women's charities and other women in business whenever and wherever possible.
